Dennis D'Angelo joined Gilbert & Renton in 2015. Mr. D'Angelo's diverse practice areas include representing organizations and individuals in complex business litigation, insurance disputes, securities law, land use litigation, employment matters, intellectual property disputes, civil rights, mortgage/lender litigation, and personal injury/wrongful death claims.

Mr. D'Angelo has successfully tried cases in both the state and federal courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and is an experienced appellate lawyer as well, having argued multiple times before the Massachusetts Appeals Court. He has achieved successful results with respect to close corporate disputes, insurance coverage disputes, theft of trade secrets, civil rights claims, personal injury matters, employment discrimination, and higher education law.

Mr. D'Angelo's appellate experience includes practicing before the Supreme Judicial Court and the Appeals Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as the United States Courts of Appeal for the First and Third Circuits. He has obtained successful appellate decisions in the areas of insurance, torts, employment discrimination, higher education, and erroneous convictions under the Massachusetts Erroneous Conviction Statute.

Mr. D'Angelo is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as well as the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. D'Angelo began his legal career at Goodwin Procter LLP. While at Goodwin Procter, Mr. D'Angelo served as a Special Assistant District Attorney for Middlesex County in Woburn District Court. Following Goodwin Procter, he practiced in the Trial Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office representing agencies and employees of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts until joining Gilbert & Renton in 2015.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. D'Angelo worked as a website designer and database administrator for Education Development Center, a non-profit based in Waltham, Massachusetts.
